Rang De Basanti

That's the name of the hindi movie that has left me mesmerised... the movie revolves around a group of college students who have no purpose in life initially and how they turn into national heroes but still the hard reality....it hit me hard...left me speechless...it was so true....there were quite a few good things about the movie...one the parallel that the director has shown between a pre-independant india and an independant but corrupt india.....it's just that the English have been replaced by corrupt indians...nothing really has changed for an average Indian....Mehra, the director, has shown the analogy so beautifully that it leaves you in tears...kudos to him!!!....the best dialogue....comes from Amir Khan of course...."lagta hai colleage ke andar hum zindagi ko ghumaate hain aur college ke baaher zindagi humein ghoomati hai"....so very true for a graduate from any college of India....nonetheless, I saw the movie with my family...it was in fact my sis's first bday after her marriage last year....so we all went to this movie and followed it by some lovely dinner at Sarvana bhawan in Karol Bagh....awesome day it was....I want to see the movie again:-)

going to have lunch outside today...didn't bring it from home....was getting too monotonous....let's see where we end up.....enjoy life!!!
